Some of the achievements of S S College are:

1) 74% of the total examinees passed out in the Higher Secondary Examination, 2007 (the highest pass percentage in the Barak Valley)

2) Through the Career and Placement Cell, (by campus interview) four students of the outgoing batch got selected in MNCs like Cipla in 2007.

3) The college produced Best Graduate in 2002,

4) The College again produces Best graduate in the recently declared B.Sc Final year Result. 2008
