Achievements of the college!
The different cells of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of S. S. College, Hailakandi working in different cells. The research cell IQAC applied for a national seminar and the proposal for the said seminar is under process. 74% of the total examinees passed Higher Secondary Examination in the year 2007, which was the highest pass percentage in Barak Valley region of Assam. Through the career and placement cell (By campus interview) four student of the outgoing batch got selected for MNcs like Cipla in the year 2007.
Golden Achievement of S. S. College
1. In the year 2002, S. S. College produce best graduate from Assam University, Silchar. Mr. Uday Shankar Chakroborty of Department of Mathematics got the award of Best graduate from Assam University, Silchar.
2. In the year 2008, the college again got another golden achievement by producing another best graduate from Assam University. Mr. Arpan Paul of Department of Zoology was awarded best graduate by Assam University, Silchar.
Other events of the IQAC Cells
The science stream, golden jubilee was celebrated in the year 2008. For the celebration of golden jubilee the cultural cell of S. S. College arranged a colourful program. The sports cell is going to org anise S. K. Roy Memorial Inter college volleyball competition in the college premises from 20th Jan 2009. details>>
The health cell is going to org anise a free health checkup camp in the college premises. The finance cell of the college, look after the financial activity of the college. On 31st Dec 2008 the college inaugurated a new building to help the teaching learning process of the college.
